Your work surroundings have such an impact on everything from your energy levels to your motivation. That's why we feel so lucky to work in an amazing, inspiring and collaborative space, full of light and creative vibes.
Our design studio is based within the Carrington Rd Warehouse in the heart of Sydney’s creative inner west in Marrickville.
As you enter the hub (a cool old two-story warehouse that looks like a School) - home to many creative artisans, fashion designers, artists, animators and ceramicists - you'll see studio after studio looking more like refurbished classrooms down a narrow, windowed hall. Studio 40 is where the magic happens.
Our studio is furnished with vintage chairs, reclaimed benches, wooden shelves and minimalistic tables decorated with props - flowers, bird cages, glass jars and vintage pieces. At the heart of the studio is the piece-de-resistance, a handcrafted, gorgeous wooden jewellery bench - a labour of love by my grandfather.
The warehouse is a melting pot of creatives, each who have a studio of their own. Some days we walk down the hallway and smell delicious brownies and tea from the Vegan Teahouse, hear loud clanging and bashing of clay from Hayden Youlley's studio, or hear music playing in the rooms of the visual artists who are in the zone.
We love it here. Below is a list of some of our amazing creative neighbours.
Check them out.
